For opera concerts, piano accompaniment undoubtedly represents the only professional alternative to the full orchestra. This has always been amply witnessed by the seasons of the major world musical institutions. No string quartet, strings and piano and so on. The standard is with full orchestra or with piano.
Our Christmas & New Year Concerts are truly a unique experience because our hall allows only 90 people and the audience feel like taking part to a private concert: performers are just feet from the spectators.

Immediately after the impressive concert, you will have the opportunity to meet the artists drinking Prosecco in the pleasant setting of a free Christmas Aperitivo, a small reception to round off your evening in a quintessentially Italian way.
Both singers and the pianist were superb, but when the pretty young host joined in at the end and proved to be a fantastic singer too, I was amazed. The best Neapolitan songs of my life! The highlight of my visit to Rome: wonderful evening. Highly recommended!

We were looking for some musical experience in Rome and I found on the Internet this evening a presentation of classic Italian music - pops and recognized worldwide - with the participation of a pianist, tenor and soprano. So we bought the tickets and, on the night of December 26, we were there, sitting on the benches of a tiny Methodist church, located very close to Ponte Sant'Angelo - in Rome. It was a super experience and we had an excellent night.
Excellent concert, excellent and friendly singers, great pianist. They alsoserved a glass of champagne after the concert.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas Opera Greatest Hits. My four children aged 10-18 were captivated and agreed that it is one of their most favourite concerts. The tenor, soprano and pianist were all superb. The church has a small and intimate setting, with good acoustic. Highly recommended.

Rome Opera Concerts promotes Opera and Classical Music by staging, in the Heart of Rome, a Concert Season that takes place from the beginning of March to the end of November, with performances every week. Special concerts are held over the Christmas period.
After 3 years of activity and over 120 performances, from 2017 to 2019, the concerts and shows of Rome Opera Concerts are the Highest Rated on major platforms.
Then the almost 2 years of stop imposed by Covid-19.
Now Rome Opera Concerts is back!
